Here is the premiere of the film I created while studying abroad in France last spring! I took a documentary course and was able to create a film about pretty much anything. I remember trying to decide what I was going to do and all I could think of was that I wanted it to be “fun”. I mean, I guess as opposed to not fun, right? What I was really going for was something that was orignal me. Now that I think about it, I really wanted to do something interactive on camera. I ended up creating a travel show featuring the city I studied in, Angers! It took me a series of three days to film and around four to edit! It was tough because I was working more in-depth with Final Cut Pro on this project than any other project I had created before. I tried to have fun with it by keeping minor bloopers and corky dialogue. There is so much more that I wish I could have added, but time was a factor. St Edward’s University had a screening of all the documentaries this past Monday for Study Abroad Week! I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think. By the way, my french has improved dramatically since filming.
Premiere: Angers, Lets Go Check It Out!
